The How Intelligence Works Consortium is the collaborative network through which individuals, researchers, universities, companies, professional organisations, governments, public bodies and civil society can contribute to a shared research and public-interest programme.
The capabilities needed to study intelligence in use are distributed. The Consortium exists to make those capabilities work together on questions no single institution is well positioned to solve alone.

Yet science still has only a limited understanding of how intelligence supports success across different situations, how environments influence its expression, and why people with similar abilities can achieve very different outcomes.
